One-Act Play

In this prequel to “Hamlet,” Claudius wants to get his brother to be a better king. He has the best of intentions. Really. Written in the style of Shakespeare, ‘The Conscience of the King’ explores the motives behind Claudius’ murder and asks: What do you do when all other efforts to save your country have failed?
